Frequently asked questions
Does Fenla move or transfer money?
No. Fenla helps you record and split shared expenses and keep track of who owes whom. Balances and payouts in the app are records only — Fenla is not a bank or payment service and never asks for your card or bank details. You settle up with friends however you normally would.
How do I split a bill?
Tap the + button, add a title and total, choose the friends involved, then pick a split method — Equal, Manual, by Portion, or Itemized. Fenla calculates everyone's share for you.
How do I settle a balance?
Open a friend to see your balance and the bills behind it. When a debt is paid in real life, record a payment to mark it as settled and the balance updates to zero.
What is freezing a bill?
If there's a disagreement about a bill, you can freeze it. Frozen bills are temporarily excluded from your balances until you unfreeze them, so the numbers stay fair while you sort things out.
How do I delete my account or data?
Email us at the address above and we'll help you delete your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention rules described in our Privacy Policy.
